I just initiated a withdrawal to an external wallet (coinbase) USDC. The transaction in in pending[8] status. Its been around 30 minutes. What does this mean? Does withdrawals take longer for bigger transactions.

As long as , you set tx fee by default. it will require more time your coin to arrive. Next time, better to set custom gas fee within app, set enough gas fee to speed up the cofirmation as usual. But dont worry, your token will come for sure. Just need a litte patience.
The withdrawal failed. Tried again and it failed as well
