unshield fees are too big

Hello

I have 70 dollars tether on incognito wallet .
Now i want to send the tether to exodus.
And the fees are 20 PRV around 60 dollars !!!

How can i withdraw without this fee ? with BTC withdraw ?

Hey @laprlaine welcome to the Incognito forums. So since USDT is an ERC-20 on the ETH network and ETH fees for smart contract interactions are pretty extreme at this time I would suggest trading your USDT and unshielding in another currency. The lowest fee currencies are probably XMR, BNB and LTC. @Revolve put together his way on how he bypasses gas fees for ETH/ERC-20 right here. Very worth reading it.

Welcome to the community @laprlaine…the reason for the high fee is not due to Incognito…it is due to the high gas fees on ethereum network…usdt is a erc20 token and moves along it’s network so therefore its high cost…trade it for xmr or ltc and then move it as you wish… :sunglasses:
