Server specs needed to run my own full node

Hello, Can anyone help me with the server specifications needed to run my own full node
So I want to set up my own full node on a VPS which has the following specifications:

  • 4 vCPU Cores
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 200 GB SSD
Will these specifications be good enough for running my own full node? or do I need to upgrade it? @sid

That is more than enough. Generally a vNode would require around 2 CPUs, 2GB RAM, 100GB SSD and at least 50 MBit/s connection (~50GB traffic per month).

Hello @anirudh.chauhan,

You will want to go with a larger SSD due to the full chain size. Please keep in mind that the OS takes up some space as well.

@adrian, I believe they mean fullnode here. I saw they were discussing with the devs on another post about running a fullnode.

Hello @Jared Thank you for your reply. Can you make any suggestion regarding the SSD size ? When you say larger SSD will an SSD of 400 GB or 800 GB good enough ?

Here is the breakdown of a current fullnode:

28G	beacon
44G	shard0
18G	shard1
12G	shard2
20G	shard3
15G	shard4
15G	shard5
16G	shard6
19G	shard7

182gb total
