I used to run nodes on a decade-old Dell, and it used to slug along just fine until I started adding nodes and running the deno script.

2 - 4 vCPU, 2GB RAM, ~200GB Disk (see below). vCPU is a guesstimate.
Here’s the data for my fullnode:
I’d say minimum of 200GB - 250GB for disk. If you use the Deno script by @J053 then you can get away with less space per node.

Are you running the same amount of nodes? If not, how many were added when you saw the issues?
I think you hit the nail on the head.
If you are going to run a single node… a decade old PC with multiple core will likely be ok if you have a fast enough hdd. If you start adding nodes to the same server… unlikely a 10 year old PC can handle that.
