Wealth Tracking Apps vs Incognito - Will They Work?

I have a question which may sound kind of dumb actually, since Incognito is all about privacy… But portfolio tracking software - is it be able to work with Incognito? I use Accointing for monitoring all of my wallets outside of my Incognito holdings.

I have been active on some forums lately and was asked if this would work. My response to my friend was “Why do you want the IRS to have visibility over your privately held holdings?” He says… “I didn’t think about that”, LOL.

But… The question remains. Does anyone have an answer?

I dont know about software, but you can track your portfolio across the pdex with my earnings tracker

Hey @Digi-TechPro welcome to the forum

Yep, Incognito can be integrated with that kind of software.

The main difference

  • Public chains are transparent on default, if you put a public address there you will be able to see the whole history without giving permissions.
  • While with Incognito they have to ask permission: read-only keys or sign in with Incognito Extension (the first version is coming within a week) each time they want to get your data.
