Under my friends who I have referred it says 6 have joined and accepted my invitations but the badge for inviting 5 people hasn’t unlocked yet?

To prevent spammers and fake accounts, the badge Promoter was removed quite long time ago. Please refer to this topic: Reading is fundamental, and other guidelines.
However, Champion and Campaigner badges are still available along side with associated PRV reward. You will get Campaigner once your referrals become Trust Level 1, and Champion once they become Trust Level 2.
