As some of you may know, trading on pKyber is currently heavily subsidized, at a fixed rate of 3 PRV per trade. Cross-chain privacy doesn’t come cheap, and neither does trading on Kyber – some pKyber trades have recently incurred fees of over 50 USD (shielding + trading).
With an eye towards sustainability, we will begin to slowly increase trading fees from our side, and will eventually match what is quoted on Kyber. These fees will be dynamic, and will vary between pairs in accordance with movements on Kyber. For now, we will be continuing to subsidize the cost of privacy by absorbing cross-chain fees.
Starting 5 August 2020, the fee to trade on pKyber is 21 PRV per trade. This does not affect normal pDEX trades.
The team will continue to work to make anonymous trading more accessible and affordable. Stay tuned for our pDEX cross-pool feature, as well as pUniswap coming soon.
