Now that it’s possible to profitably mine PRV and earn other coins with your Incognito pNode, you might want more than one! The team who designed the original pNode are back with a proposal that reimagines what an efficient multi-node setup can be. The goal was to design a modern device that not only complements the minimalist style of the original but also makes it easier to use when you want to add nodes. It’s a modular, “plug-and-play” system that you can customize how you like.
With the “Node Tree”, it will be more cost-effective per node, so you don’t need to invest as much into expanding. In addition, it will save space and remove messy cables to help you stay organized.
We’ve designed the Nodes to be stackable and less complex, focusing on minimizing the number of parts to increase ease of handling and assembly.
Modules connect to each other using uniquely designed magnetic pins (which also enable power and ethernet) that make it easy for them to stick in place and remove the need for a cable connection between nodes (see photo).
We’ll have to carefully select the right material and size for creating a connection method that allows for adequate power and speed. Node owners can own multiple nodes and place them around their house or office, but we propose to solve clutter and efficiency. Currently, there are two options:
The first option is a pNode stack with a powered base. The nodes are stacked (up to 10 high) on a base which is connected to an adequate power source, which regulates all nodes.
The second option is to remove the base and have nodes stacked on each other (5-10 node maximum), with all nodes connected to an adequate power source.
