The BTC wallet containing nearly 70,000 BTC that was under attack by hackers and moved on Tuesday was seized by the Justice Department. The bitcoin in the wallet were hacked from Silk Road and turned over by the hacker on Tuesday, identified only as “Individual X”. The Justice Department also seized the forked BCH and BCHSV associated with the wallet.
So the wallet.dat file was not successfully hacked. The “original” owner moved the funds … to the Justice Department.
