Many privacy focussed users using degoogled phones without access to the Google Play Store. Could we make the App available in the F-Droid store for them?

Yes this would be really great, the app needs to be fully open source for this though, I am not really sure whether that is already the case though.

It either is, or is in the process of being made so, open source gets talked about pretty often from the stuff I read, so I think we are on the right track!

Great, does anyone know here how we can upload it then to F-Droid? Unfortunately I only know how to download apps there 
In case we do not finde here someone, I could give it a try. But might be better if we find someone who understands a little bit more of these things.

Something similar was discussed just 2 days ago in the topic concerning reviews in app store
There I came up with the idea to upload incognito app to the APKpure store
I never heard of F Droid though
Another simple solution would be to justmake a direct download link for the APK directly on incognito homepage 🤷‍♂

There is more information how to request the app to be added to the main fdroid repo. Alternatively incognito could host their own repo but then people will have to add the incognito repo to F-Droid first.

Here you find some good explanation on the F-Droid store. As far as I know it is the most used store by privacy minded people.

Thank you, looks like at this stage we won’t be able to place our app in F-Droid then. As the app uses quite a lot trackers at the moment. I hope once the app is stable enought we will get rid of all these trackers. In my opinion as a privacy project we should not track users.

Hi,
Many people run rooted androids that do not use or have Google services. Our app store is called “Fdroid” and the constant updates of incognito make it very difficult to keep manually installing the apk to use this wonderful app. Please could you add it to the Fdroid app store, for privacy minded individuals I couldn’t think of a better platform for the wallet to be on.
