i don’t think we’ll focus on that. Why you think that we need to shield our ip address ?

Hi @jtmh, we thought about the dark mode for the app a while ago and we hope to get it done around next year.
The Tor is still under the researching process. It is listed here: Privacy for applications and tools

Being able to shield my IP address is the single biggest reason why mobile wallets of any kind are not private.

Incognito does a reasonable job of breaking the chain viewable on-chain for transactions but it’s not close to 100% private. Their roadmap has a lot of improvements so I’m excited about it  I don’t know of a better alternative project that is operational at this time.

Yes totally agree with you, there is no real competitor for Incognito. And Incognito has a awesome team, which really stands for the privacy mission instead of just wanting to pump up the PRV price. They focus instead of creating more and more value to the incognito chain, which will for sure continue to push the price as well. Price over long time always follows the value. But most importantly I’m sure that we really creating here strong and independent privacy community.

According IP and privacy, so far easiest solution, seems to use a VPN. I would like to know which VPN the Core Team trusts the most? Or which VPN Service they are offering as price in the Node Lottery as an indicator?

Yeah a VPN works but it’s not a great user experience turning in on and off all the time. I’ve heard android has some conditional proxy apps but I don’t think iOS allows it anymore.

I got to incognito watching a video by Rob Braxmann, a specialist in security and privacy.
He talked about how the incognito project really worked well to protect privacy. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=E0FVO5zO98k&t=24s

Rob has an internet privacy project (fully aligned with incognito’s values) and provides software and hardware for that purpose, as well as his own VPN.

It is worth taking a look and even proposing a partnership
his website is brax.com

Just another AirVPN user here. From my experience and what I saw out there, it’s the best one by far.

Until we have a dark theme, you may want to get some protection.
