When it was created: ShivX was created on 1st of April 2017, the community is working towards its development.

Why it was created: ShivX is a digital currency designed for people and for everyday use. It improves upon the original Bitcoin blockchain and aims to fulfill its initial purpose of providing individuals and businesses with a fast, efficient and decentralized way of making direct transactions.

What purpose does it hold: We felt there is a need for a token that can help overcome the poverty in our society. ShivX is a community token for everyone who helps in charity and beat poverty.

Hi Jared,

Thank you for the update. ShivX development team is working on getting a community Page setup. So we can show our community strength. However please note it will be still be different to find total number of shivX holders as Incognito dev team also wont to able to provide this data.
We are also working on getting ShivX on other platforms, where we can track shivX holders. In mean time if there is any other way to get shivX verification completed please let me know. ShivX dev team is also working on updating ShivX Website with detailed information on progress of ShivX since 2017. If you want me to add anything else please let me know. Looking forward to your hearing.

Custom Coin Verification Criteria

In order for a custom coin to be approved by the committee, the coin must meet our criteria as listed in this post. 1) First and foremost, the coin/project must not be illegal. If they are related to the following then they will not be approved: Scamming / Spamming Illegal Drugs Black Hat Hacking Selling Dox Info (SSN, IDs, CC, Passport, etc) Damaging to Incognito’s Reputation Etc 2) An introduction post must be made per our guidelines: 3) User should be at least, Trust Level 2, member stat…

@Jared but my question/comment is, can’t shivx holders still exchange the coin even if it is not verified?

What functionality other than showing up as a “verified” coin, does shivx lose by not being verified?

With new coins they would not be listed on the app at all to hopefully prevent scams and stop bad users who just wish to create a coin on our blockchain and rug pull.

Regarding previously created coins (prior to the committee) they have been removed as “verified” coins on the app and are only found if you hold them or search and tap “show unverified”. It appears to me that they are still tradable. As with anything crypto, please everyone DYOR (do your own research). The committee will try to weed out any illegitimate coins but verification is not endorsement but merely they have met our criteria.

I’m confused, is the issue that they are not worth anything, so that is why they can’t be traded, or is it because there is something in the system blocking them from trading?

@jared I am not familiar enough with this stuff, but I am sure you could answer that question. why would Shivx not be able to trade if based on what you said above, they should be able to right?

so that is why they can’t be traded, or is it because there is something in the system blocking them from trading?

Not the system (I mean blockchain) blocks them from trading but the app does. Whom may want to trade can use RPC or incognito-cli or implement another own wallet allowing unverified coins to be traded.
