2KEY is live on Incognito. Send, Store and Receive Privately.

Sept 23, 2020 – Since its inception, Incognito has played a large role in making privacy accessible to the world. As of today, it will also be bringing Incognito mode to users of 2key.

A viable solution for privacy and low network fees

As a Layer Two protocol on the Ethereum network, 2key is not immune to the high congestion issues that have plagued the network. This has led to high network fees, where a small sum of 2 USD worth of crypto has a requisite transaction fee five times that amount.

With Incognito, 2key users no longer have to worry about high ETH gas fees when transacting in-network. Users will be able to send, store and receive 2KEY tokens for next-to-nothing transaction fees of just 0.0001 USD.

Also unlike on the Ethereum network, where activity histories, account balances and even identities can be traced and exposed, Incognito allows users’ transactions to be kept hidden and anonymous. You - and only you - hold on to your privacy keys at all times, and what is kept hidden or public remains fully within your control.

Entering Incognito mode

To use Incognito, users will have to first download the Incognito app.

AS PS APK

Users holding 2KEY will then have to send their tokens from their external wallet to the Incognito wallet. A full step-by-step tutorial on how to do so can be found here.

About Incognito
